Report guide

Read by topic

Start with a topic and open the relevant chapter in the original report. These pathways connect the reports to the four areas of this website; they do not constitute a STARS assessment.

Page numbers refer to the existing reader’s original page sequence. The 2023 original is in Chinese; English interface controls do not translate its pages. Reporting periods and boundaries differ; consult “About this report” before comparing years.

Data in context

Annual data in context

Use the original unit’s data alongside the reports. Each observation identifies its period and limits, without treating activity counts or institutional size as evidence of sustainability impact.

01 / Student numbers: understand the population first

The published student total decreases across academic years 112–114. This provides context for campus resources; it does not measure educational quality or sustainability performance.

Published student totals
Academic year (Taiwan calendar)Students
11216,169
11315,743
11415,356

Scope: registered students on 15 October in each academic year. The source excludes specified extended-study categories. These are academic-year figures, not calendar-year populations; do not combine them with electricity figures to calculate per-student consumption without reconciling the boundaries.

02 / Electricity: compare billing periods before totals

The General Affairs announcement lists Taipei, Taoyuan and Kinmen. Its table labelled 2026 contains consumption entries for December 2025–May 2026, with later rows blank. This is not a complete calendar year.

Read the actual billing dates and campus coverage. This guide does not calculate annual savings or changes in emissions from these partial data. Missing entries are not zero consumption.

03 / Social responsibility: follow the annual evidence

The USR report index provides links labelled 2023 and 2024. Read the original reports for projects, locations and evidence; the index alone cannot establish community impact or a year-on-year change.

As checked on 21 October 2026, the 2025 heading had no report link. This guide therefore does not present a 2025 report as available.
