Led by Director Yang-Cheng Lu and Deputy Director Min-Rui Chu, a group of 20 faculty members and students participated in the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Integrated with the Higher Education Sprout Project, this activity utilized an industry-academia collaboration model to extend classroom theory into industry settings, deepening the learning outcomes of sustainable development and the net-zero transition.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr data-path-to-node=\"3\" \/>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Key Highlights of the Visit<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The itinerary featured a comprehensive blend of academic insights and hands-on experience:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"6\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Expert Keynote:<\/b> Ms. Eva Lin, Chairperson of Pacific Cycles, delivered a lecture sharing the company\u2019s practical experience in <b data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"126\">sustainable design, green manufacturing, and carbon credit mechanisms<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Guided Museum Tour:<\/b> Mr. George Hsu, Curator of the Pacific Cycles Museum, personally guided the group through the history of innovation in the bicycle industry and the core philosophies of low-carbon transportation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Practical Experience:<\/b> Participants engaged in a test-ride session to experience the performance of <b data-path-to-node=\"6,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"99\">Electric-Assist Bicycles (e-bikes)<\/b>, gaining a tangible understanding of green transportation and its role in carbon reduction and sustainable living.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-path-to-node=\"7\" \/>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Bridging Theory and Practice<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Through this visit, faculty and students successfully bridged the gap between theoretical concepts\u2014such as <b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"107\">carbon credits and sustainable finance<\/b>\u2014and real-world industrial practices. The experience significantly enhanced their awareness of corporate carbon reduction strategies and environmental responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ming Chuan University remains committed to promoting <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"53\">interdisciplinary sustainable education<\/b>.
